ALTHOUGH IT SAYS TRIP, PLEASE NOTE, THIS INFO AND REGISTRATION IS FOR DAY CAMP, NOT A TRIP.
Welcome to Family Dive Club’s Summer Camp Registration!
We know you have many choices when it comes to summer camps, and we’re thrilled you’re considering Family Dive Club to enrich your child’s summer experience. Our goal is to provide fun, active, and engaging programs where campers gain knowledge and skills that stay with them long after camp ends.
Our weeklong, fun-filled summer camps are open to students ages 12–18. Campers will make new friends, build confidence, and have the opportunity to work toward earning their PADI Rescue Diver Certification while developing valuable water-safety and problem-solving skills.
Camps are held at:
Blue Water Park — Pelham, AL
The PADI® Rescue Diver course transforms the way you dive—in the best possible way. You’ll learn to recognize and resolve minor issues before they become major problems, respond effectively in challenging situations, and build a new level of confidence in the water. Many divers say Rescue Diver is their favorite course because it’s rewarding, empowering, and genuinely fun.

To enroll in the PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba Camp or Junior Advanced Open Water Diver Scuba Camp you must be:
Knowledge Development (eLearning)
Campers will complete the academic portion of the course through PADI’s online learning platform before camp begins. This allows students to learn at their own pace and arrive prepared for hands-on skill development.
Confined Water Training
Practice essential rescue skills in a pool or controlled water environment. Campers will learn how to prevent, recognize, and respond to problems while building confidence in a safe, supportive setting.
Open Water Rescue Scenarios
Put newly learned skills into action in a real diving environment. Campers will complete open water scenarios designed to simulate realistic situations, reinforcing safety, leadership, and problem-solving underwater and at the surface.
